Today, is more stressful than yesterday. But still maybe less stressful than tomorrow. Hence, ‘today’ is important. Slightly more important than yesterday and tomorrow. So what do we do for our today? We spend most of our time thinking about yesterday and planning about tomorrow. Parry Wellness has held this thought and worked on it. Spirulina is a name synonymous with good health. All those who have indulged even in little research about good health and nutritious foods, have heard of Spirulina and its benefits. Parry wellness advocates the goodness of Spirulina along with versatile ways of consuming it. Highly digestible and absorbable, Spirulina is an organic, vegetarian protein option. It is an excellent source of B-complex vitamins and Minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, iodine, magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper, chromium, and potassium. Also a good source of iron in an easily absorbable form.
There are ample and interesting ways of consuming Spirulina. One meal a day including Spirulina will warrant a necessary dose of good health to fight any health related irregularity. I personally prefer to start my day with a glass of luke warm water with lime and honey and a dash of Spirulina. Sometimes I also replace a sandwich with a glass of Fresh Watermelon juice with Basil and a spoon of the magical Spirulina powder.
- 300 ml warm water
- Squeeze an entire lemon
- 2 tbsp honey & 1tbsp Spirulina powder
Water Melon & Basil Juice
- Add 8-10 pieces of fresh cut watermelons to the mixer
- Add 1tbsp of Spirulina powder & sugar each
- Add 2-3 basil leaves along with ½ tbsp lime juice
- Blend for a minute & serve immediately
Ever since I’ve started this routine I’ve seen a drastic change in my health. As promised Spirulina has had a tremendous effect on my stamina and energy levels. For those of you struggling with weight loss, Spirulina does have a flattering effect on the metabolism.
It’s very easy to ignore what our body tries to tell us now and then fall into the trap of medications and treatments later. But it is better to calm down, slow down for a bit and listen to your body. To give it the required time and effort and love and care for it to support us through our journey.
